The VULKAN TORFLEX-HT is suitable for the torque range between 2,0 and 15,0 kNm either for pleasure crafts or for work boats (12,5 kNm). As the required deflection angle in this torque range is much lower than for pleasure boats, there is no further need to use the flexible coupling element in parallel. The progressive characteristic is again reached by using the patented channel design as described before.

VULKAN is synonymous with torsionally flexible couplings, but over
the past 5 years we have been concentrating on changing from a
component supplier to a system supplier. This has been achieved by
